1. Be sure to choose online shops that have a special size chart for each dress. Some stores use a generic chart for all their dresses. Be sure you choose a store that measures most of their Christening Dresses styles themselves, and doesn't rely on general size charts.
2. Look also for online stores that show you how to measure your baby. Some of us aren't tailors or seamstresses and wouldn't really know how to do measurements.
3. Look for online stores that have different pictures of their dresses. They should have pictures on how the dress looks from all angles, close ups and even on a mannequin or better yet on a live baby model. At least you can see and estimate how your baby will look in the gown.

In my book, there are four colors that can go great with any occasion. You have the common black or white (ivory sometimes is considered) color, and then there is navy blue and grey (silver sometimes is considered). These colors can blend with any color you want to match it with.
