How to Preserve those oh-so-cute Flower Girl Dresses

Want to keep and preserve the EliteDress you got for baby? It would make a cute memento that you can pass on to your daughter later on.

Or, you may have several daughters and want to keep our classic elitedress looking as spankin' brand new as the day big sister wore it. After all, the basic but elegant lines of our dresses will surely not go out of style.

The usual practice is to have the dress drycleaned after use, hanging up the closet with a linen/ plastic dress bag. However, this can result to discolorations.

Here are some tips to help you store those elitedresses.
  • Get a pure cotton sheet, wash with hot water. Or get archival acid-free tissue. There are also archival boxes that can store the dress if you want it folded while storing.
  • After use, have the dress dry-cleaned. Some laudry shops also specialize in preserving dresses.
  • Take out fabric covered accessories or embellishments, wrap in archival tissue. Store separately from the dress.
  • Fold the gown or hang it up, insert archival tissues between folds and fabric.
  • Wrap in the pure cotton fabric.
  • Store in a dry place.
Do check the EliteDress every few years.
