I'd say it's really about the difference in culture. Local Chinese are not too keen on wearing revealing clothes that Barbie is known to wear. Now, won't it be a great idea to see Barbie wear the national dress of the country she's in? Is there a legal implication if Barbie wears a Cheongsam?
She's always seen wearing American dresses so maybe it's time to update her wardrobe.
