During the fashion show, one of the nine pretty ladies modeled a yellow cheongsam made from local crops! Cool, right? Peas, beans, chickpeas and lentils were used by students from a designer school to represent countries like China that import Canadian pulse crops . The nine edible dresses were the highlight of the annual Crop Production Week show. Read more about it here.
Edible or not, the cheongsam will always be my favorite traditional Chinese dress. So, what's yours?
