Preparing for your child's First Communion is more than the
pretty white dress, the lace veil, rosaries and so on. It's more on preparing the child about the sacrament that he/she is about to partake. Telling stories of your own experiences could be a way to teach how important the sacrament is.
It is also a time to instill the Catholic faith. Keep in mind that this is the foundation of your child's spiritual well being. This celebration marks the first time your child will receive what Catholics believe to be God's own body and blood, make sure he/she comprehends the deeper meaning of the sacrament.
Has been helping Catholic children through their rite of passage since 1997
