Wedding Checklist

Here's a wedding checklist that might be of help to all bride-to-be out there.  I hope you find this very useful

WEDDING CHECKLIST/ PLANNER Good organization and a proper timetable are crucial elements in planning your dream wedding. Here is a general list of things that should be done and when they should be completed.
12 Months Before the Wedding
	Announce the engagement
	Select the wedding date and time
	Orchestrate meeting of parents and future in-laws
	Consult fiancé and all parents regarding the budget and make your budget sheet
	Determine number of guests and draw up a guest list with fiancé
	Choose and reserve the ceremony and reception sites
	Book a wedding coordinator
	Develop a record-keeping system for responses and gifts, either on computer or file.
	Canvass prospective suppliers such as florists, musicians, choir/soloist, photographers & videographers, caterers, make-up artist, cake, favor manufacturers, etc.
11 Months Before the Wedding
	Select ceremony officiant and check his availability
	Draw a list of primary sponsors and check their availability
	Choose members of the wedding entourage
10 Months Before the Wedding
	Decide on color motif and wedding theme
	Compile the guest list along with fiancé's mother
9 Months Before the Wedding
	Interview and sign a contract with caterer, if necessary
	Consult a travel agent regarding honeymoon plans
8 Months Before the Wedding
	Choose a designer or a an online store for the bridal gown and gowns for the entourage
	Select gown and headpiece
	Select entourage's attire - flower girl dresses
	Ask mother and fiancé's mother to choose their attire
	Schedule gown fitting if necessary
7 Months Before the Wedding
	Meet with florist and discuss floral arrangements
	Book photographer and videographer
	Meet with musicians to select music for both ceremony and reception
6 Months Before the Wedding
	Choose and order wedding favors/souvenirs
	Choose and order wedding bands and have them engraved
