Matching Christmas Dresses For Moms and Daughters

Would you want to wear matching dresses with your daughter?
I can't see myself wearing a matching dress with my teen daughter so I envy those who can.

But honestly, matching dresses could be over the top sometimes. So what I suggest is find a dress that's matching in colors but not exactly the same dress. Maybe a theme could work well like plaid for the entire family, or all wear red and green Christmas dresses, or a velvet theme perhaps?
