Start the day right by attending your Church service. I’m sure God has special blessings in store for Dads and their families on Father’s Day. The family can put on their Sundays’ best—a nice polo for the boys, and pretty girls' dresses for the little ladies. You can even make a tradition of taking annual family photos after Sunday service.

Since you’re all dressed up, why not plan a special lunch at home. Make it a bit formal by taking out the nice plates and silverware. You are celebrating a special day after all. I always cook my husband’s favorite dish—Sloppy Joe’s. The whole family then sits down, enjoys each other’s company, and relishes the yummy food. Even my daughter doesn’t seem to mind the chili stains on her girls party dresses each year.
