Your child’s
baptism is coming up. You are excited to welcome your baby to the Christian
world. You’ve got the part all planned out, and now you’re thinking of Baptisms
Favors to thank guests of sharing in your child’s special day. Here are a few simple
and affordable ideas:
- Candy bags – all you
need is some mesh bags that are the same color as your child’s christening gown
(you can buy in your local craft store) and some of your favorite candies. Place
your favorite candies in the mesh bag, maybe 4-6 pieces. Wrap the tip with some
nice ribbon. Simple and quick (Tip: Choose hard candies that come in wrappers
so they won’t melt and be messy).
- Cookie bags – like
the candy bags but with your favorite cookies.
- Refrigerator
Magnets – You just need to print photos of the child with their name, date of
christening and a little phrase at the bottom. Laminate it and place some
magnetic tape (you can also buy this at your local craft store) at the back.
Many of my friends have photos of their children in christening gowns.
