DIY Flower Candy for Valentines Day

Love is in the air and nothing is lovelier than giving a handmade gift on Valentine's Day!  

Here is another sweet Valentine's Day crafts for kids of all ages that is simple and easy to create.

Materials

Red Japanese paper or red tissue paper

Greed cardstock

Lollipop

Scissors

Rubber band

Instructions

If using a Japanese paper, cut 3 pieces 5’’ squares.

Place each square on top of the other, and rotate each one to be sure that the corners don’t match up.

Pull the tissue papers down over the lollipop.

Fasten them with a small rubber band.

Ruffle the tissue around the lollipop.

To make the leaves, cut at least 5 leaves from the cardstock. 

Move the end of the lollipop stick through the end of each leaf.

Run the leaves up the lollipop stick so that they support the tissue paper.

You have an option to write short Valentine messages on each leaf.
