Popular Names Through Out The Years

Are you having a baby anytime soon? Or just plain curious (like me!) about baby names that went popular on some years?

I wonder if you prefer to name your baby based on what's popular during her "time" or do you think of a unique name? Some names I know are names that are meaningful to both parents and others are combination of the grandparent's or the parent's name.
