Another call I got was asking me where to buy a Cheungsum in Atlanta. I suggested the local Atlanta Chinatown, but they had already looked there. Unfortunately we only sell Girl's Chinese Dresses.

Qipao Festival 2010 in Beijing
I read from Global Times that last May 31, 2010 about 50 important guests were invited to witness the Qipao Fashion show in celebration of the death of Soong Ching Ling, the wife of Sun Yat-sen, father of modern China.
The models were both Chinese and foreigners who wore the best and finest Qipao. I can only imagine the intricate designs that the Qipao had. I really hope that many other fashion shows like this will emerge in the coming days to raise the awareness of the world about the history and symbolism of Qipao.
These are some of the photos I got from Global Times (photo credits)
Elite Dresses offers affordable and top quality Qipao for your little girls and Kung fu suit for your little boys. We make sure we give only the best fabric to you.

The Dragon Boat Festival
The Dragon Boat Festival is coming up soon. It’s actually on June 16. Mark the date on your calendar and celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival with the whole family. And since the Dragon Boat Festival or Duan-Wu is just a few weeks away, start planning for this great event. Do you know what Zong-zi is? Zong-zi is rice dumpling--steamed glutinous sweet rice with a filling. It’s traditionally eaten during Dragon Boat Festival. Yummy! Sample this rice dish with your kids when you decide to turn June 16 into a family day.
If you’re looking for girls Chinese dresses for this year’s Dragon Boat Festival, we have beautiful yet affordable Cheongsams and Qi paos for your little ones.

Year of the Tiger Colors
Even my non-Chinese friends rely on Feng Sui consultation as where to put certain objects at their homes and business offices to attract positive vibes. As the Chinese New Year is coming, we once again search for the right colors to wear, right Chinese lucky charms and right places to keep them.
I found out that the color for the Year of the Tiger is BLUE and LIGHT YELLOW. Blue is for nourishment which will increase our productivity and eventually our chances of making more money. Light Yellow is for peace within ourselves, our family and the people around us. For more specific color schemes, I found out that it also depends on which year you were born.
Blue for people who are born on year of the rat, rabbit, dragoon, snake and rooster
White or light yellow- for people born on year of the ox, tiger, sheep and monkey
Violet-for people born on year of the dog and pig
Red/Violet is for people born on the year of the horse
It's nice to know all these thing and it won't hurt if we believe in them. As long as we do not rely on them entirely, we are safe. Plus I am a believer that what our mind can conceive, we can achieve. Success is mind over matter. We will have it with or without charms.
