Mulan in the Land of the Rising Sun
Chinese Opera 'Mulan Psalm' just had a successful premiere at the centennial hall of Gakushuin University in Tokyo this week. Mulan Psalm is a grand showcase of China's folk music, national costume, and some martial arts all to captivate the Japanese audience. This opera is based on the tale of brave Chinese warrior Mulan who happens to be one of my daughter’s all-time favorites.
