How to Maintain Girls Dresses

Taking good care of first communion dresses and girls Easter dresses will not only make them last longer, but will also help save you some cash! Here are some good tips to help maintain these girly dresses:

• Don't forget to follow the manufacturer's care instructions for the dress.
  

• As much as possible, hand wash the dress to remove sweat, and body oils.

• Remove any stains as soon as possible.
• Always check the dress for any loose buttons/threads. Repair any damage (rips, holes) in the dress immediately.

• Steam or press the dress before storing it.
• Use plastic hangers to hang the dress (they are gentler than wire ones). Metal clips on hangers could rust and stain fabric so avoid using them as much as possible.
