I read about a school imposing a strict dress code on Winter Ball because some girls tend to wear inappropriate dresses but then there are also schools who think it is not necessary to impose one because majority of the girls come in appropriate frocks. I wonder which school your child goes to?
I would think that parents should be involved in finding the right winter ball dress for their child to ensure that it is appropriate and right for the girls' age. I would stay away from too tight and too short girls dresses. The key is to start looking and preparing early on such occasions so that you can have plenty of time for shipping time and you can choose from different stores until you come up with the perfect winter ball dress for the girls.
