and looking at all the beautiful girls party dresses, I can’t help but reminisce
about my childhood. I remember the different parties I would attend wearing
beautiful dresses my mother bought me.
Tea parties bring back many fond memories. I recall my
friends and I dressed up in many colorful girls party dresses, the cakes and
cookies that were served, the beautiful decorations, and the silverware and
china used. I also remember how much fun my friends and I had every time. We would talk for hours about different
things. There was this one time we all brought our favorite doll, and we
treated them like guests to our tea party. Other times, we shared anything and
everything—like our family vacations and even what shows we watch on TV.
Indeed, those were fun times.
As I grow older, I would like to preserve those memories as
much as I can. One way for me to share these with my daughter is to organize
tea parties of our own and invite her friends. I would ask her to pick out a
pretty party dress , style her hair, and twirl a few times before the guests
arrive! I love seeing my little angel’s face brimming with excitement each time!
