·      Graduation picture: This is usually taken a month or two before the graduation. Help her pick out graduation dresses as there is usually two pictures taken.

·      Graduation toga: The school coordinates with parents weeks beforehand to make sure the child’s toga is secured. Make sure you give your child a choice of graduation dresses to wear under her toga.

·      Graduation gathering: I always prepare a small celebration for after the graduation ceremony. It’s almost always held at home, limited to our close family and friends. Well, except for the time my second child graduated first grade and insisted on a pizza party at Chuck E. Cheese.
