When I was getting married, one of the first things I remember choosing was the color scheme for my wedding. I remember it was my favorite colors, red and green (jade green to exact), with some splashes pink. The colors I chose blended perfectly, and made for a beautiful and unique color palette. From the table settings to the flowers, the bridesmaids dresses to the flower girl dresses and everything else in between, everything worked in perfect harmony on my special day.
There is no set rule for choosing your wedding colors. You may have bold colors like yellow and red, or simple and classic colors like black and white, doesn't matter, as long as it's what you want. If you have two colors, throw in a third or forth color that will blend or enhanced the two primary colors, I had a friend who choose purple and green, she threw in a little pink which just blended everything together.
You can find many color tools online to help you blend your favorite colors together. Of course these are just only suggestions or guides to help you, the ultimate choice is yours and yours alone (of course with your husband). So don't worry, go crazy and choose as many colors as you want. I was once in a “rainbow” colored wedding and it was fabulous!
