There are so many ways to get creative with a used dress. Here are some ideas to making your girls’ party dresses completely new.
- Turn a dress into a tutu skirt by cutting off the lower part of an empire dress. Add a garter and viola, you have a skirt. This would be perfect if the empire dress was made of tulle.
- Since flower girl dresses are so special, add bead work, ribbons, and laces to prep it for the next big occasion.
- If recycling a dress is not your cup of tea, then cut it up and turn the cloth into pouches. Stuff these pouches with dried flowers and potpourri and scatter them around the house.
