I was told today that Ao Dai's with White Pants are the more traditional style and only usually worn around Vietnamese New Year. Interesting. I just got some in. They should be on the site tomorrow.

American Girl's Chinese Doll

A customer just sent me a picture of their daughter wearing my Chinese Dress holding an American Girl's Doll, Ivy's New Year Outfit, they were like twins. I don't have permission to share the photo, but here's one from my site and another from the American Girl site and you can see how close they are.

Keeping children occupied at Weddings

At a wedding I went to there was a couple of children just roaming around the side article so bored.  So my daughter was nice enough and entertained one of them, and finally the Father entertained the other one after a while.

To bad I did not have these coloring pages done at the time and even a coloring booklet that can be distributed to your smaller guests to keep them busy during the wedding.

Piano Competition

Yesterday my daughter was in her first Piano Competition and it was interesting to see what the other competitors wore. Since she was playing a piece that was very dynamic, buying her an ice coffee that got her a bit wired helped ;-)

I added the following coloring pages:

What happens is as I expand the article on Wedding Customs and Traditions I realize, I really should have a Coloring Pages that shows that part of the wedding. The challenge is there are so many parts of the wedding that can have a coloring page added, and I am up to 14 Wedding Coloring Pages already!

More Chinese Wedding Coloring Pages

I added a couple more images for my Chinese Wedding Coloring Pages that are Printable! So now I am over 12 images on the page!

Bit of a funny story on this one. I had asked the Graphic Artist who is doing these coloring pages to do a receioving line, and I assumed it would be American Wedding Customs and Traditions, because I was updating the American Wedding Coloring Pages.

Instead, I got back a Receiving Line - Chinese Wedding Coloring Page. For the Wedding Cake Coloring Page there was a Chinese symbol in the back.

Hmm, not what I want, but the Coloring Pages are so well done! What to do!

So I kept the Chinese Receiving Line coloring page and for the Wedding Cake Coloring Page I created one without the Chinese Symbol.

Burgundy Girl's Dress - Very popular

I am not sure why, but the Girl's beautiful burgundy sleeveless formal dress is selling better than any other color. It's a wonderful color for the Holiday Season, but this did catch me by surprise. Especially size 8's, reminds me, I need to go get some more.
